Crease edits a photo you choose and then forgets it. This page says exactly what that means, in the order it actually happens.

Your photos

When you run an edit, the photo is sent from your device to our server over an encrypted connection. It is held in memory only for as long as that one edit takes and is never written to disk on our server. When the edit finishes — or fails — the photo and the result are dropped.

To produce the edit, the photo is passed to the AI providers listed below. We do not keep a copy, we do not build a library of your face, and nothing you upload is used to train any model by us.

Who else sees the photo

• deAPI (deapi.ai) — runs the image-editing model that produces the edit. The photo, and any garment reference image, are sent there for processing.
• Google (Gemini API) — runs the safety check and the “is this still the same person” check. Your photo and the edited result are sent there for classification only.

These are processors acting on our instructions for this single edit. They are not given your identity, your purchases, or any way to link one edit to another.

What we do store

On our server we keep a small record so the app can count your free edits and your purchases:

• A random install identifier generated on your device. It is not your Apple or Google account, your email, your phone number, or your advertising ID.
• Your platform (iOS or Android).
• That you accepted this notice, which version, and when.
• For each edit: which edit and option you chose, which model ran it, how long it took, what it cost us, the identity score, and whether it succeeded. Not the image.
• Credits and subscription state, received from the app store through RevenueCat.

What we never collect

No account, no name, no email address unless you write to us. No location, no contacts, no advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics or ad SDKs, and no tracking across other apps or websites.

Your edits stay on your device

Finished images are saved in the app on your phone, and to your photo library if you save them there. Deleting the app removes the ones held by the app.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete everything erases your install record, your edit history and your consent on our server. It happens immediately and cannot be undone. Purchases are held by Apple or Google and are restored through them, not by us.

Children

Crease is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly process their photos.
